LMPs is a collective of experienced professionals offering complementary expertise to support business advisers, business owners, and affiliate organisations. The group encourages members to engage actively in conversations and share practical, high-quality advice with a focus on clear, unbiased opinions. This environment is designed to help members feel confident about working with each other based on trust and expertise.
Networking Philosophy and Member Expectations
The group promotes an “online first” approach to networking, encouraging initial digital engagement followed by further conversations and possibly meeting in person, such as for a coffee. LMPs is not a platform for direct lead generation or sales, but rather a space for business-to-business (B2B) interaction with the ultimate goal of benefiting business-to-consumer (B2C) relationships. Members are expected to demonstrate consistency and professionalism, helping others as much as themselves and maintaining a positive, productive atmosphere during meetings.

The LMPs contrast this with typical networking events where participants focus solely on selling, which is discouraged within LMPs. Colin Saville
Joint Founder
Colin has worked in Insolvency and Business Recovery for more than 40 years, working as a Senior Manager and a Director of various businesses.

​With the benefit of his interaction over 40 years with a vast array of fellow professionals in many sectors and with the many skill sets required, it will come as no surprise to anybody that knows Colin, that he has an extensive ‘black book’ of professional contacts.

Colin is passionate about the array of contacts that he has and is keen to connect fellow professionals, if you feel that these introductions would add value to your business. These values and approach to networking are fundamental to what the LMPs is about and what the LMPs means to Colin and his fellow members. Colin is credited with starting the use of the ‘like-minded’ strap line for our networking group, his belief is that if we all share the same networking values the more successful, we all become.

David Ingham
Joint Founder
David, who has worked in the financial services industry for over 30 years. During that time, he has worked extensively in a corporate background. Some of that time was spent in leadership & management positions.

Since moving to the world of running his own business, David has had a passion for networking since this very bold career move of his. He has participated in many different networking initiatives and has painstakingly researched the networking landscape over the years. He helped create the LMPs with a vision of building a networking offering that makes a difference to fellow businesses and has something different to other networking and business club that are out there.

Together with Colin, David has created a like-minded mindset that is that ‘everybody wins in business’ and ‘business success is for everybody' in our LMP groups. The ultimate ambition for the LMPs, in David’s view, is to create a vibrant business ecosystem for his fellow professionals.
