I recently attended a networking event hosted by Like Minded Professionals, it was an incredibly valuable experience. I joined LPM a few months ago and was immediately impressed by the friendliness of the group and more importantly the overall willingness to help each other.
I've been introduced to a number of people in and via the group that have helped me move my small business forward - all that help and advice has been invaluable.
I've been part of LMP for about 18 months I think (I'm actually not really sure) . I thoroughly enjoy the meetings and have met some really good connections along the way. The businesses are diverse and the people supportive. I'd recommend it to anyone looking for grow their network and build their business through networking.
I really look forward to our two-weekly chats. I used to be a partner in a national firm of chartered accountants, and when I "retired" i just kept going as a one-man band at home. My team were great, and I miss them. Now I have regular chats with interesting people at LMP - so good for the soul!
I have been a part of the group for a few year now and its the only networking group I religiously attend. Why is that? It is because it works!
There have been so many occasions where my business has benefitted from referrals or advice that I have received from members of the group. Referrals have directly led to auction sales generating some serious income AND providing success stories and happy clients for those people referred to us.

Our new LMP group had its first meeting last week, and I’ve already lined up multiple one-to-one meetings with individuals whose expertise complements mine, opening up opportunities for collaboration and referrals. LMP is already proving to be incredibly valuable from the very first session!
I’m relatively new to networking and the LMP has been a fantastic community for me join. It’s a great environment with a brilliant team of people and there’s genuine interest in you and your business and an eagerness to connect you with people where there might be mutual benefit from the conversation and connection.
LMP hosts fast paced meetings that showcases each member and offers great opportunities to identify fantastic connections to collaborate with. The monthly LMP15 meetings also allow meetings between other groups to broaden the network even further which is brilliant and fun to take part in too.
I have had some great follow up meetings with members and have found useful referrals for my clients in specialized sectors as well as for my own business development. Everyone is very welcoming and helpful so just having the helping hands available is reassuring.

Like Minded People - the clue is in the name… People buy from people but in a world where everybody is trying to sell to the next person, how do you trust the person you are buying from?
Like Minded People members are in it for the long haul and have the mindset to build trust and relationships and on the back of this to make referrals and do business.
LMP is a great network which has already added significant value to our business in a short period of time since I joined. Through the network I have been referred for potential business, to a prospective strategic partner who is a great fit for us, and have now got the peace of mind of trusted IT support.

The culture of LMP suits me well. It's relaxed yet business-like. I enjoy meeting new people and gradually getting to know those I've met before.
LMP 15 is an effective form of speed networking - four slots of 15 minutes with people you have not met before, and occasionally one or two that you have. I always come away with value from it.
Being part of LMP does exactly what it says on the tin. It brings together like-minded business professionals who are actively building and leading businesses across a wide range of industries.
The mix of online and in-person sessions works particularly well, making it easy to stay engaged while also building genuine relationships. Although I am still relatively new to the group, I have already gained significant value through the quality of connections, shared experience, and openness of the community. It is a network that feels collaborative rather than transactional, and one that clearly supports long-term business growth.
